sorry I’ve been completely MIA during the past couple of months but to tell you the truth, my time with my little ones is so precious that I’d much rather spend it with them than blogging. Thanksgiving went by like a whirlwind! for the past 5 years my parents have been able to spend thanksgiving with us, in the company of matt’s fantastic family. My MIL hosted another memorable dinner, which was made perfect by the fact that the kids behaved beautifully (thanks to the cat in the hat). another perfect holiday except that I was too crazy and tired to take any pictures.
no shots of my family (yes, another year goes by without one) but in honor of all the families that I have been blessed to encounter in my line of work, here’s a couple of shots of one fabulous family. they bid for my sessions at the last fundraiser for St Benedict School. here’s to all families! happy belated thanksgiving!
few things are more amazing than waiting for your first baby: the love for a child you have yet to hold, the adventures yet to come and the dreams for the person you will soon meet.
I was reminded of that when I met with M and J last night. Not only are they the sweetest couple you will ever encounter but they still have that newlywed glow about them. I was so mesmerized by his total devotion for her and how his eyes shined from her beauty. he posed with her! and she was a total sweetie– you can totally tell from her pictures! she looked glorious and glowing and beautiful!!! they are so excited to welcome their first baby and its obvious how ready they are to love him or her. I can’t wait to see them holding their little one… Thank you to this loving couple for allowing me to capture the three of them for the first time.
may all babies, old or young, be embraced by such blind love.
